Profile and sign-in settings

Find profile, password, and account-recovery controls.

Based on current source Evidence & limitations

Current settings and recovery controls source-backed; account mutations and email delivery untested. This guide is a review draft; check access and saved results in your current workspace.

On this page

Personal account settings are separate from the settings of a project, agent, or organization. Use the current Settings area for your own profile and sign-in controls.

Update your profile

The current source places profile information under Settings → Profile. It includes name fields, website, bio, social links, and profile image controls.

  1. Open Profile.
  2. Change only the fields you intend to update.
  3. Use Save changes when it appears for unsaved edits.
  4. Check the displayed result after saving.

Review whether information is suitable for the places your profile appears. Do not assume a personal profile field is private simply because it is edited in Settings.

Change or set a password

The source-backed path is Settings → Security → Update password. Existing-password accounts are asked for the current password; an account without a usable password can see a set-password flow.

Enter and confirm the new password only in the service’s own secure form. Follow the current validation requirements and check the result. Never put a password into a chat or documentation screenshot.

Recover access

The sign-in source includes Forgot password? and an email form with Send reset link. Use the email associated with the account and follow the link from the genuine service email.

The recovery flow has invalid or expired-link states. If that occurs, request a fresh link rather than repeatedly reusing the old one. A submitted reset request is not proof that an email was delivered.

Email verification

Where shown, the verification flow offers Resend Verification Email and Try Login. Check the account and any displayed error before retrying.

Account recovery, password changes, profile saves, and verification delivery have not been exercised in the documentation demo. These steps follow current source controls; the live sign-in controls are documented in Sign in.
